SignalGuard Australia Pty Ltd was established in 1993 to represent the encryption products of CES Communications of New Zealand.

Its primary Customers were the various Federal Government Departments.

In 2007 SignalGuard began establishing a GPS tracking service. The initial product was the Trimble Trimtrac for Fleet and Asset tracking and then in 2008 a personal tracking and duress system for Nokia mobile phones was released. More recently the Axonn Satellite Trackers utilizing Globalstar have been integrated into the tracking service.
